Nemuer​ is a dark-folk fantasy music duo from Czech Republic consisting of Michal Krča and Katarina Pomorska. It is a rather unconventional piece of emotional music combining dark tones of acoustic guitar, deep vocals (including throat singing) and female soprano supported by interesting instruments such as jaw-harp and djembe. Nemuer’s acoustic music is full of contrasts, melancholy and atmosphere connected to world of fantasy, ancient civilizations, druids and gods. This music will also serve as the soundtrack to a book Krča is currently writing.

 

Nemuer initiated a crowd-funding campaign for the debut album “Irenthoth’s Dream”. The result was sufficient to cover the most of the recording expenses and the physical CD album was manufactured in 300 copies. A small number so let’s hope they will still have a few copies left when they visit the Vrijplaats!

Local ambient artist Lamaha will be this nights supporting artist. He will take the stage around 21:15 for a half hour set. Nemuer will perform at 22:00
