The 7th edition of Leiden Internation Short Film Experience (LISFE) is taking place on 30 April and 1-2 May. This year we are transforming into an ever more dynamic festival that combines film and interactive art. To get in the mood for what will be our best edition yet, LISFE is organizing a festive night filled with short films, music, visuals and dancing at Vrijplaats Leiden!
We will screen several great short films from previous editions. After this, we will enjoy a performance by the amazing singer-songwriter Picking Ivy.
Hailing from Rotterdam and equipped with a banjo, Picking Ivy sings and plays “her own tragicomical country, blues and folk songs on the banjo and guitar”. Tonight she will not only enlighten us with her own repertoire, but also take us on a musical journey around the world and play some songs by folk hero Pete Seeger.

From 22:30 onwards we’ll move downstairs to dance the night away until the early hours and bust some moves to songs played by DJ Lama Waaien (Radio Tonka)!
